JOTI (Jamboree on the Internet) is an annual events organised by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, where scouts from different parts of the world connect with each other through amateur radio and internet technologies. Through these events, scouts can learn about different cultures, share their scouting experiences and ideas, and develop their communication skills.
In a world full of social media and fake news, it is important to connect with real people. We are part of a worldwide scouting movement and JOTI and our international trips help us learn more about each other.
During the weekend the Scouts also competed in the annual Spreckley shield. The shield sets teams against each other, solving challenges, and working as a team. There can be only one winner.
And this years winners were 2nd Worcester.
